Biographical Sketch

Osman Gültekin was born in Cayiralan, Yozgat, Turkey in 1988. He studied at the Department of Civil Engineering at Middle East Technical University until June 2011. Following his Bachelor's degree Osman moved to Stuttgart in Germany and enrolled in the international Master Program, Computational Mechanics of Materials and Structures at the University of Stuttgart in Germany where he received his M.Sc. degree in January 2014. In February 2014 Osman started his doctoral studies at the Institute of Biomechanics, Graz University of Technology under the supervision of Professor Gerhard A. Holzapfel.
