Biographical Sketch

Andrii Grytsan's background is in the dynamics and strengh of machines. He has received a M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering at the National Technical Unversity Kharkov Polytechnical Institute. In recent years he is working on the mechanics of soft biological tissues. At the moment he is pursuing his Ph.D. in the area of Biomechanics focusing on the mechanical modeling at the cellular level including growth and remodeling of aneurysms. An additional focus is the interaction of drug-eluting stents with atherosclerotic arteries.
